hahahandy is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or switch devices.
Our target
We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where practical, which also satisfies the WCAG 2.0 baseline. That includes:
- Semantic HTML and logical heading order throughout the site
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page
- Sufficient colour contrast for text, and no instructions that rely on colour alone
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and empty alt on purely decorative ones
- Accessible forms, with labelled fields and clear error messages
- Touch targets sized for real-world tapping, not just mouse pointers
- Respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting — animations are minimised or removed
- No content that flashes or flickers
Known limitations
This site is under active development. We review it regularly and welcome feedback on anything that doesn't work well with assistive technology.
